The Edenvale Heritage Precinct is an iconic venue located in the Peel Region and
only 25 minutes from Mandurah and an hour from Perth.

With its old world, rustic charm, the stunning historic buildings and well cared for gardens,
our village is the perfect spot to say ‘I do’.

Spoilt for choice, couples may choose between a number of spots within the Precinct to celebrate and enjoy their ceremony and reception. There is also no need to venture far for photographs with many stunning locations within the Precinct and close by.

  • The Edenvale Heritage Precinct offers wonderful options for your wedding ceremony, reception and photography locations.

    Contact the Shire of Murray Place and Events team to organise a site visit or to answer any questions you may have.

    There are no additional fees for wedding photography in the Rose Garden or within the Precinct.

  • We understand that the best performance needs rehearsal. Please arrange a site visit with a member of our Place and Events team by contacting events@murray.wa.gov.au or 9531 7777.

    Rehearsals in the St John's Church do need to be booked in advance https://www.spacetoco.com/space/pinjarra-wa-edenvale-precinct-st-johns-church the cost is $50 per hour and the key can be picked up from the Shire of Murray administration building 8.30 to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

  • The Community Meeting Room within the Edenvale Homestead is a hireable space which is a place where you may choose to get ready, or store items before and after the service. It has a small fridge, urn and sink and also has indoor toilet facilities, please note these facilities are shared with the cafe.  FAQs

  • All bookings for the Edenvale Heritage Precinct may be made via SpacetoCo - https://www.spacetoco.com/space/edenvale-heritage-precinct

    Bookings made through SpacetoCo are not exclusive use. No other bookings will be accepted for the area that you have booked, however, the general vicinity may still be used by the public (family picnic, dog walkers etc.) The area that you have booked will not be fenced off to the general public.

  • The Shire of Murray has no objections to the consumption of one glass of alcohol as a toast at your wedding. However, the use of glassware is not permitted. It is the hirer's responsibility for the behaviour and wellbeing of all patrons at the wedding. Please ensure all rubbish and containers are cleaned up before you leave.

    The selling of alcohol is not permitted, and all laws concerning the consumption of alcohol must be adhered to.

    If you wish to host your reception and have alcohol available for guests at no charge a Permit to Consume Alcohol on Shire Property must be filled in and submitted with your wedding event booking. This allows the service of alcohol over a specific use of time, rather than just one toast. The cost of this application is $50.00

  • The Shire of Murray has no objections to decorations in the area, however there must be no damage or interference with any tree, tree guard, shrub, flower, plant, fence, building, seat, grass surface or other property owned within the Edenvale Heritage Precinct.

    All structures, arbors and marquees must be noted on your wedding application

    A 'red' carpet is permitted.

    Free standing structures are allowed, but please note - NO STAKES or PEGS are to be utilised within the Precinct, all decorations, marquees and structures must be secured with water weights.

  • There are public toilets available behind the Community Meeting Room, next the the Pinjarra Arts Hub. If you book the Community Meeting Room you will also have access to the shared facilities which include male and female toilets and an accessible toilet.

  • No person shall deposit rubbish or litter within a park or public reserve other than in a bin or rubbish collection area set aside for that purpose. Any decorations are to be removed by the hirer and disposed of responsibly. If you are hosting your reception within the Precinct you will either have to manage the waste or you may choose to hire extra bins for your event.

  • Once you have booked your venue/s via SpacetoCo you will need to pick up keys between 8.30-4.30pm Monday to Friday. If you need to pick up keys outside of these hours, you will need to arrange an alternative arrangement with the Place and Events team on email events@murray.wa.gov.au or 9531 7777

  • The Shire of Murray does not allow confetti or rice to be thrown at any event on Shire reserves due to environmental reasons. The Shire recommends the use of bubbles as an alternative; however, no residue is to remain on concrete pathways, stepped access, or other thoroughfare to reduce potential slip-hazards.

  • You are welcome to bring or hire additional chairs, wedding arbors, small marquees or umbrellas for your wedding or event. You must note all temporary structures on your wedding booking form.
